Dear readers and listeners of Soundville, it has been quite some time since we last enjoyed orchestral and jazz music together. Today, I am delighted to introduce you to the debut album "Searching for Colors" by the talented Avinoam Ettun, which embodies the delicate craftsmanship and tenderness of classical music, seasoned with jazzy passion, enriched with amazing surprises and deep emotions. "Searching for Colors," with its four tracks, could be your most significant discovery of the day!
The tracks on the album, composed by Avinoam Ettun for a large ensemble, include parts for strings, winds, and rhythm sections. This grand album can be listened to for hours, each time revealing new moods and meanings. Conceptually, the album offers to enjoy the unique musical language of its creator. Avinoam Ettun seems to communicate with the listener through tender strings, refined guitar, and light rhythms, making his album akin to a diary, carefully written and attentively crafted. The instrumental compositions on this album are unforgettable and touching, therefore they possess a unique ability to penetrate right into the heart. Each track on the album tells its own story, carries its own voice and soul. They are interconnected, yet each is distinct. "Searching for Colors" deserves to be heard and appreciated at the highest level. Therefore, I suggest you take a break right now and start listening!
The first "A Tale of Three Balloons" begins with a gentle and airy melody, in which a dialogue seems to occur between the inhabitants of a magical country. It's easy to imagine a ballet performance unfolding to this music, where each movement of the dancer embodies a fairy tale story. This delightful start to the album gives goosebumps and creates a sense of infinity. The penetrating intonations of the instruments transport the listener to a world full of deep emotions, which are impossible to grasp all at once. Closing your eyes, you can feel every note, reminiscent of orchestral classics, perfectly suited for moments of solitude. Isn't it magical? Then "The World Needs Healing" dramatically changes the mood of the album, transporting the listener to an entirely new dimension. Here, jazz and improvisation play a key role, creating a wave of new emotions. Avinoam Ettun skillfully conducts a dialogue in which the guitar and saxophone interact with incredible harmony, creating a captivating sound. This track transcends the ordinary, into a new universe, where an intriguing story unfolds, allowing the viewer to delve into endless reflections.
In the next "Ear Illusion," magical fluxes of keys, guitars, and wind instruments awaken an indescribable feeling of infatuation. Against the backdrop of the first track, this one sounds even richer and more lyrical. The change in sound timbres is striking: when the guitar suddenly comes to the forefront, it's simply mesmerizing. This track has become my favorite on the album thanks to its captivating performance. Avinoam Ettun's virtuosic emotional play seems to reveal feelings hidden deep within the subconscious. The album concludes with "Melodically Involved," a slow and nostalgic melody that grants a feeling of full immersion in one's thoughts. "Melodically Involved" with its bright rhythm, deep and soft guitar, and resonant saxophone give the atmosphere a bright and positive vibe. A very stylish track that reveals Avinoam Ettun as a master of his sound.
You know, I was constantly haunted by the feeling of connection between the colors on the cover and the energy of the tracks. I think the cover of this album is a very important element that will help better understand the tracks and Avinoam Ettun himself. It reflects not only Avinoam Ettun's skill in creating complex and deep music but also his conceptual sound. You can move through a spectrum of emotions and colors in the direction you feel. Absolutely flawless work! And each listener will be able to find the track that touches them the most. Don't miss it!
